Swiftie Minis are coming this April, 2024 to Columbus, Ohio! Taylor Swift is all the rage right now. She is on top of the world and doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
The Decision to Plan Swiftie Minis
When Fancy Fabrics and Props released their line of Taylor Swift backdrops, I couldn’t wait to show my son. He has really gotten into her music this year and even had a Taylor Swift cake for his birthday. Every year my kids choose a theme for their birthday photos. I like to design sets to show their current interests. It’s really fun to look back over the years and remember those special times.
At first, I hadn’t planned on offering Swiftie Minis. Then, my son saw the backdrops and decided on a Taylor Swift theme for his birthday session. As my son got more excited for his upcoming birthday session, my excitement grew, too! We started shopping for props and outfits. I even made a sequined guitar to match the Eras tour! The planning was becoming quite fun, which led me to the idea of offering up Swiftie Minis for the public.
Promo Day
My son has a lot of friends. His teacher tells us that he is friends with everyone in his class. However, he has two best friends and they both enjoy Taylor Swift like he does. One of them is the daughter of my BFF!
I met my best friend on the first day of Kindergarten and she remains my ride or die to this day – almost 40 years of friendship! It was so awesome to have our children at the same time. My son and her daughter are in the same grade and have become the greatest of friends. Of course, it completely warms our hearts!
The two of them planned a fun night to watch the Eras tour movie. I told my friend to pack a sparkly dress for her daughter so we could go to the studio after the movie. I knew the two of them would have so much fun taking promo photos for Swiftie Minis. Sure enough, I was right! They were so cute together and had a blast!

You have two opportunities to schedule your Swiftie Mini. My studio is located right off of Polaris Parkway in Columbus, Ohio. Currently, the dates are set for April 6 and April 27, 2024. I am hopeful that they will sell out! Don’t delay snagging your spot!
What’s Included for Swiftie Minis
The $250 session fee covers the cost of one person. Immediate family, most likely siblings, can be included for an additional $50 per extra person. Friends and other relatives will need to schedule their own time, but they are welcome to also jump in for your session if you want to get some photos together!
Some outfits are available for your kids to borrow, but please ask for sizing to make sure I have what you need. To be on the safe side, I encourage you to wear your own sparkly outifts. A great shop you should check out for affordable kids clothes in Once Upon a Child in Westerville. Please arrive for your session already glammed up, as there will be no time to spare in the packed schedule for the day.
