I'm Stacey :)

I'm so excited you're here! I'm Stacey, the one behind the lens. I love animals, babies, reruns of Friends. and being creative with my hands! I have always been an entrepreneur, ever since selling my pictures along the roadside as a little girl!

I have been an educator for 20 years and love my career as a professional newborn photographer. Mentoring others in the art of newborn photography is one of my great loves. I host workshops out of my Columbus, Ohio commercial studio, as well as other host studios, and I also mentor other photographers through my online coaching program. Every time I train a new photogrpaher, I end up feeling so fulfilled. It's the perfect combination of my creativity, love for teaching, the art of photography, and being around adorable babies!

I’ve done in person workshops and online and they were helpful but I wanted to work on some specific things. I looked for a newborn educator near me and was blessed to find Stacey. I contacted her and told her what I was looking for. She assured me she could help me so I set up a 1:1 with her. Stacey was exactly what I was looking for. She gave me so much confidence by letting me know all the things I was doing right and showing me how to do the things I needed help with. As we went along, she checked to make sure all the foundational things I needed to know were in place, which I thought was great and showed off her experience as an elementary teacher. I totally recommend Stacey if you’re just starting out, if you’re experienced and want to learn some new things, or take your photography to the next level. Whether it’s in a workshop or a 1:1, Stacey can help bring out your best as a newborn photographer. I felt so much more confident in my first session after our 1:1 and it’s continued to build.

Stacey is an amazing photographer and educator. If you’re expecting a new baby, you won’t regret hiring her. She is patient and safety for your baby is her top priority followed closely by creating beautiful images of your baby.

If you’re a photographer looking to acquire new skills-Stacey is an amazing educator. She is thorough and patient. She teaches safety, posing, and lighting. And she doesn’t stop teaching you when you leave the studio. She continues to cheer you on and help you improve your skills. There really is no better option!

Stacey’s newborn workshop surpassed any and all expectations I had for the day. If anyone is looking to advance their career in newborn photography, I highly recommend her workshop. Whether you are a new or seasoned photographer, you will leave feeling highly confident in your work. Not only will you gain an ample amount of knowledge, you will get to be hands on with each newborn model. I am truly grateful to have experienced what it takes to be an amazing photographer.
