Twinkle Twinkle Theme – Smash Cake in Columbus Ohio
A year ago this dark haired beautiful boy came to the studio in Powell, Ohio for his newborn session. Now, Amir has turned ONE year old and it is time to celebrate! Therefore, he got a smash cake session in Columbus, Ohio! His mom requested blue, gray, and white with a twinkle twinkle theme and a balloon arch.
I really enjoy customizing sessions. Firstly, it lets me put my creativity to good use. Therefore, I bought some new silver star garland and cut out sparkly white stars to attach to the balloons. When the family arrived, Mom loved it! She said it also matched her home country’s flag perfectly, so it ended up having two special meanings.
I also made a crescent moon to use with my curved white bench. Before the cake smashing begins, I always do some simple portraits with the set. In this way, parents get clean and messy photos! Additionally, Amir’s family jumped in for a few photos and those turned out great, too!
Amir’s favorite part of this session was the bubble splash where he really went to town with splashing. As a result, it gave him a whole new attitude and he was ready to pose again. We ended up getting another set of photos after he was all dried off.
In Conclusion, Amir’s cake smash and splash was a big success! I had fun setting it up and Amir’s family got some beautiful keepsake photos that will last forever!
