Hesitant about getting your photo taken?
Moms are always behind the camera, it seems. We rarely get in a photo and let’s be honest, most of the time we don’t want to. We are so hard on ourselves, aren’t we?
I always make sure to get new moms in the photo with their new babies. Many times Mom is hesitant. My reply is always that she doesn’t have to share the photo if she doesn’t want to, but one day her kids will want to see what their mama looked like when they were little!
Think about your own family. When you see old photos, do you care if your loved ones were carrying a few extra pounds or didn’t have their best outfit on? Of course not; you just love seeing them and you are so grateful to have those photos.
And dads, I haven’t forgotten you! You are just as important to your kids. They will want to look back and see that you cared enough to capture that time in their lives.
My point is this: don’t wait! Get in that photo!
